How Does Invisalign Work?

Invisalign works by moving teeth a little at a time using sets of clear plastic retainer like molds called aligners that are custom made to fit over your teeth. Patients wear each aligner for about two weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. To make sure your teeth are moving as planned, and to receive another set of three aligners, you‘ll see the orthodontist about every 12 weeks during Invisalign treatment.  (Youtube video link)

If you’re in a hurry, or just want to be done as quick as possible, we can add an Acceledent device to your Invisalign treatment to cut your time in half.  Acceledent is a bone biology stimulator that speeds up your teeth dramatically.  Invisalign aligners are changed out weekly with Acceledent.  Many patients are reporting more comfortable tooth movement  with Acceledent as well.  We at ChapmanSmiles highly recommend Acceledent to all of our patients.  (Acceledent picture)(Youtube video link)
